Washington, Mar.30 (ANI): US First Lady Michelle Obama is getting set to take the world stage by accompanying husband and President Barack Obama on their first trip abroad after assumption of office.

Both are headed for London and Paris, where President Obama is to attend this week's G-20 Summit and a meeting of NATO leaders.

According to Politico, the first couple's trip to Europe Tuesday takes Michelle Obama to a land that likes her husband but seems positively fascinated by her.

Washington, Mar. 30 : The United States has said that drone strikes on Taliban and Al-Qaeda hideouts inside Pakistan would be carried out only after consulting Islamabad.

President, Barack Obama, in a television interview, said missile hits against terror camps would continue in the future also.

"I haven't changed my approach. If we have a high-value target within our sights, after consulting with Pakistan, we're going after them," The Daily Times quoted Obama, as saying.

London, March 29 : While U. S. President Barack Obama is gearing up for his first official overseas trips, it seems that the entire White House staff are preparing to fly with him.

Obama is all set to meet the Queen before joining 19 world leaders at the G20 summit on Thursday in London's Docklands. He and First Lady Michelle will later fly to France, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Accompanying them on these trips will be at least 500 officials, the back-up staff, and high-tech gadgetry.

Moscow - The presidents of Russia and the United States are expected to sign an agreement on strategic offensive weapons on the sidelines of a financial summit in London next week, the Kremlin has announced.

According to the Interfax news agency, citing Kremlin officials, US President Barack Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev will also issue a joint statement about their nations' bilateral relations during their first meeting since Obama's inauguration in January.

The statement will have "practical applications for coming negotiations," said Sergei Prikhodko, an advisor to Medvedev.

Washington - US President Barack Obama on Saturday pledged continuing national support to victims of severe flooding in North Dakota and neighbouring Minnesota and South Dakota.
