Everybody knows that Big B can sing very well and this makes him a singer also, his recent singing talent was there in Bhoothnath which was released last May and that song was his 25th song in Bollywood. Adding to it he’s now gone into devotional singing for an album of the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ being composed by Aadesh Shrivastava who calls himself the Big B’s ‘Hanuman’. The new Chalisa will have a whole lot of male playback singers contributing. But the Big B leads the pack.

Still smarting from the terrorist attacks in Mumbai on 26/11, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan, in his recent blog, said that he will not celebrate ‘Holi’ this year.

In his message, the actor also said that Bachchan’s Holi party, which is usually a grand affair, will not be celebrated this year.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has seemed to be a big fan of the festival Holi for a while now. He's celebrated it almost every year with pomp and show.

Even cinematically his `Rang Barse' song from the 80s has grown to be an all time favourite for all fans over the years.

But this year, he's announced that he will refrain from Holi celebrations in remembrance of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack victims.

Two years ago, Amitabh was convinced by his make up man of over thirty years, Deepak Sawant to work in a Bhojpuri film that Sawant produced called Ganga. He then even went to do the film's sequel Gangotri. But now it has been revealed that Amitabh will work on Deepak’s first Hindi production, Great Dadu.

Bollywood legend and former MP Amitabh Bachchan would not campaign for any party in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

At a promotional event for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, Big B said, “I’m not a politician. I won't campaign.”

The 66-year-old actor, who got selected to the Lok Sabha from the Congress party in 1984, is a close friend of Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.
