Reportedly he wooed the audience with his speech at the prestigious Wharton business school of the University Of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He talked about topics like multiplex versus single screen films to the new economy to Bollywood going global and on various aspects of avant-garde cinema

Today after Anurag Kashyap's Dev D Abhay is being seen as the voice and spokesperson of a specific kind of niche avant-garde cinema in Bollywood and even being invited to global platforms to speak on the changing face of Bollywood.

Last week on March 21 Abhay was invited to the prestigious business college the Wharton School Of The University Of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

And Abhay wowed the audience.

Back in Mumbai after a long trip to New York, Abhay is now is working on the pre-production planning of his home productions currently and has plans to launch two films. “One will be a tragic love story and has four main characters in the film. I will be playing one of the characters. The film will be directed by Atul Sabharwal and will go on floors in October. While the second film I am still going through the scripts and that I plan to launch somewhere in November.

Set in rustic North India, Dev D has real life characters living in modern era. Parminder (Mahi Gill) who is our Paro is a messy-haired, clumsy and about-average pretty. This modern day girl sends her nude pic online without any shyness to her childhood sweetheart Dev (Deol), studying in London. The two lovers finally meet.
