Back in Mumbai after a long trip to New York, Abhay is now is working on the pre-production planning of his home productions currently and has plans to launch two films. “One will be a tragic love story and has four main characters in the film. I will be playing one of the characters. The film will be directed by Atul Sabharwal and will go on floors in October. While the second film I am still going through the scripts and that I plan to launch somewhere in November.
Anurag Kashyap's Dev D is the modern version of Sarat Chandra's Chattopadhyaya's story about Paro, Devdas and Chandramukhi. Except the basic storyline there is no similarity between the other films based on same concept and Dev D.
