Ahmedabad, Sept 13 : Former president A. P. J. Abdul Kalam will take classes at the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) from Saturday to November 
27 on energy security and water conservation among other key issues.

New Delhi, Sept 7: Former President A. P. J. Adbul Kalam on Sunday said India can conduct nuclear tests in the supreme national interests, if the international situation warrants it.

Kapurthala, July 27 : Former president Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam will visit Kali Bein in Punjab’s Kapurthala District today, to participate in the concluding function to mark the eighth anniversary of ‘kar sewa’ of the holy river.

This will be his second visit to the Kali Bein. Earlier, recognizing Baba Seechewal''s relentless service to clean the Bein, he visited the holy river two years ago.

Kali Bein is sacred to the Sikhs for its association with Guru Nanak Dev, the founder of Sikhism.

Bangalore, June 26 : The former President A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on Thursday said the nuclear deal with the U. S. will prove beneficial to India.

Kalam was talking to the media at the sidelines of a conference on International Aero Space in here today he said that it was crucial for India to sign the deal with the US.
