Pakistan president to make first visit to China
Beijing - Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari will make his first visit to China since taking office next week, the Chinese foreign ministry said on Thursday.
Zardari will hold talks with President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and other top leaders during the visit from October 14-17, ministry spokesman Qin Gang told reporters.
"We warmly welcome and look forward to his visit," Qin said.
"We hope Sino-Pakistani relations can be further enhanced through his visit," Qin said. (dpa)
