Pak investigating agencies fail to establish Bugti’s links with RAW, Afghan govt

Quetta, May 24: Pakistan investigating agencies have reportedly failed to establish the links of Shah Zain Bugti, the grandson of Nawab Akbar Bugti, with Indian intelligence agency RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) and the Afghanistan Government.

Having failed to prove the connections, they released Zain from the Mach jail in Bolan last evening.

After reaching Bugti House in Quetta, the Bugti scion said that he had been moved to the district jail in Dera Murad Jamali when investigating agencies failed to prove his connection with the Indian spy agency RAW and the Afghan government.

He credited his release to the Balochistan government, and said that he had been arrested under fake charges.

The military operation had not stopped in Dera Bugti, and that talks with Baloch separatists would not be successful unless the government withdrew troops from Dera Bugti, Kohlu and other areas of the province, the Daily Times quoted him as saying.

Earlier, a huge convoy of tribesmen brought Bugti from the Mach jail to Bugti House in Quetta. (ANI)
