Oz Defence Department apologises to Tania Zaetta over sex scandal claims
Melbourne, Jan 27 : Tania Zaetta has been invited to sing for Australian troops again after the Defence Department apologised to her over false allegations claiming she had sex with soldiers during a tour of Afghanistan.
Defence has revealed that it had finished mending fences with Zaetta over the claims.
The Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, met the former Who Dares Wins host and apologised again to her.
He said there was no substance to the allegations.
Houston said an agreement on compensation with Zaetta was reached late last year, and he was `very happy' to have the matter resolved.
"I have also made clear to Ms Zaetta that she is welcome to again join a Forces Entertainment Tour in the near future,'''' News. com. au quoted him, as saying. (ANI)
