“Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!” - Paresh Rawal in triple role, three weird looks

Paresh RawalParesh Rawal fans have triple delight in store for them - their favorite actor, extremely versatile at that, has a triple role in Dibakar Baneerjee's forthcoming film, "Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" The veteran actor plays a Namdhari Sikh, a gangster and a veterinary doctor, and sports three distinct but weird looks in the film.

"Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" is releasing on November 28, and is inspired from the real-life story of Delhi-based 'super thief' Bunty, who wanted to lead a plush life and become famous. The film has Abhay Deol in the lead, and also stars actress Neetu Chandra.

The three different looks of Paresh Rawal have been styled by Delhi-based designers Manishi Nath and Rushi Sharma.

Paresh first plays Abhay's father - a Namdhari Sikh from the 1980s. Nath told IANS that the character comes from lower middle-class, and sports a colored jacket and baggy jeans, along with a belt, a white turban and fake Reebok shoes.

Gangster Gogi Bhai, Paresh's second character, is very flamboyant and flashy. About this look, Sharma said that the actor has a henna-colored wig, vermilion mark on the forehead and a visible disco chain. He wears a white suit with a pink shirt and a red stole over it.

In the third role of a veterinary doctor, Dr. Handa, Paresh wears more 'normal' clothes - regular shirts and pants, sporting a cravat, but the combination still is very weird as he has an edgier side to him.

"Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!" is the stylist duo's first film together, and they reportedly undertook a lot of "on the road" research for it. They say their work is heavily inspired by the "kitsch content and sub-culture of Delhi."
