Organized crime causes 85 percent of US data loss

Organized crime causes 85 percent of US data lossAccording to the reports of San Francisco Chronicle, there has been steady rise in cases of organized crime and supposedly responsible for almost 85 percent of the total data loss.

It has been stated that the cause behind Verizon Data Breach Investigations 2010 was purely based on statistics gathered by both Verizon and US secret service agencies.

It was further added in the report that close to half - 48 per cent - of the percentage of population of all breaches were performed by the aid company insiders, and close to 11 per cent have unregretful business partners.

The reports claim that outsiders were responsible for most of the cases, with approximately 27 per cent security overruling done by a combination of authorized people who have acted without outside claim.

Managing head of the forensics team at Verizon, Matthijs van der Wel stated: "By adding our data to the secret service's we were able to build up a better picture of data breaches, with many results found to be the same as earlier reports."

This in addition to the fact that Verizon and US secret services studied more than 900 million breaches in a short interval of six years in order to gain complete knowledge of the scene of happening.
