About half century back, President John F. Kennedy challenged NASA to send a man on the moon. Further maintaining the legend, President Obama has mutilated NASA's Constellation program, thronging a challenge to not to send a man on moon and engage themselves in some other activity, keeping the budget in mind.

However President Obama hasn’t directed this message to NASA, publicly, else sending the signals for the same in the Obama's 2011 budget request.

The Obama strategy to murder the constellation program has left some space dreamers, thrilled, which actually entails creating a commercial sector where astronauts can buy tickets to space similar to booking a seat in plane.

Now, since the budget demands the curtailing of the project many of the workers in NASA are in dilemma to do what now. The same is the case with the NASA contractors who are now facing a dead-end of a program that has been their foundation of the agency's human spaceflight strategy for the past five years.

For the Constellation project NASA was about to open the hiring of about 11,500 people across the country, including about 8,600 in the private sector but the same needs to be shut down leaving a cost of $2.5 billion under the Obama budget projections.

There will be major changes trailing, was well known to all, before the election of Obama's, but his new budget exceeded the expectations of many, which has almost finished the entire Constellation program, as well as a new crew capsule, Orion, and a future moon rocket, Ares 5 which was very well designed under President Bush.

This will lead to a change in the behavior and the dealing way of the aerospace industry with the government, which will risk the taxpayers to private industry.

Now it is up to the president who can dismiss the proposals made in his budget and letting the American character to be explorers.
