O2 Launches White LG KP500 Cookie Phone In UKThe technology seems to be progressing gradually and it brings happy news for all those who are Gizmo freaks.

LG KP500 Cookie was launched earlier as an affordable and user-friendly full touch screen GSM phone in black color. Afterward, there were special editions of Pink and silver from Orange.

This time, UK’s O2 has offered the ‘Cookie’ in pure white color with a metallic blue rim for UK users.

LG Cookie comes with an array of features that consist of a full touchscreen display of 240 x 400 resolution, a 3 megapixel camera, a QWERTY onscreen keyboard, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM radio with RDS, 48 MB internal memory plus 8GB micro SD cards.

The new touch screen phone, which weighs 89 grams and is about 11.9 mm thick, also has latest UI, which lets users to connect loved ones’ photo, and the speed dial feature allows them to call the friend by just touching his/her photograph.

Jeremy Newing, head of marketing, LG Mobile UK, stated, “Touchscreens continue to be a key focus for LG this year and by offering consumers more choice we are continuing to bring affordable yet feature packed handsets to the masses.”

In addition, the phone, which also packs in an accelerometer and games based on the motion sensor, offers up to 3.5hrs of talk time and up to 350 hrs of standby time. The users can enjoy motion sensor games by turning, flipping and shifting the device.
