Nokia Unveils New ‘Supernova’ Range of Phones
After enticing users with its ‘E’ series phones, the Finish giant Nokia has come out with another offering in the market.
This
time, the technology giant has rolled out four new handsets including
7610, 7510, 7310 and 7210 under its new ‘Supernova’ range.
Targeted
at style conscious people, the newly launched ‘Supernova’ phones boast
a stylish design together with quality mobile functionalities.
The devices will sport customizable Xpress-on front- and back- covers in a variety of colors and surfaces.

Harlow, vice-president, Live category, Nokia stated, “As we rely
heavily on mobile phones to stay connected, they increasingly know
everything about us and have become a window into our world.”
“With
the launch of the Supernova series, they are all set to provide people
the ability to set themselves apart in the same way that they would
with a traditional statement accessory,” Harlow added.
Available
in the colors of ‘bubble gum pink’ and ‘vivid blue’ in a gloss finish,
the Nokia 7210 Supernova is a slim and trendy handset. The phone
features Nokia Music PC Client, tri-band GSM plus EDGE support, FM
radio, 2 mega pixels camera, SD memory expansion slot, one click access
to share the photographs and access to Flickr, among others. It will
hit markets in the third quarter of 2008 for around 120 euros.
The
Nokia 7310 Supernova is also a candy-bar model, which comes equipped
with a 2 mega pixels camera with 4x digital zoom, and TV out for image
sharing. It also features preinstalled games, an FM RDS radio, MP3
music and instant messaging. The 7310 will retail for around 155 euros
before taxes and subsidies, and is expected to be made available in the
second quarter of 2008.
The Nokia 7510 Supernova phone has a
folding design with a push-to-open side key. It is available in the
colors of storm blue, red and emerald green and espresso brown with
Xpress-On front and back, and comes loaded with exciting features
including a large 2.2 inch QVGA display, 512 MB microSD card, 2 mega
pixels camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash, Nokia web browser, FM
radio, A-GPS support, and access to Nokia Maps 1.2, link to YouTube,
WidSets, and many others. Priced around 180 euros before taxes and
subsidies, the 7510 phone will hit markets during the fourth quarter of
2008.
Meanwhile, the Nokia 7610 is a slider phone with smooth
curves, that is available with Xpress-On covers that permits users to
select between steel blue and red covers with a muted grey front
surface or a bright lilac and steel blue contrasted against a perfect
white front surface. It has an innovative theme coloriser, along with
many other astounding features that includes FM radio, and access to
Nokia WidSets for navigating and sharing content, a 3.2 mega pixels
camera with dual-LED flash and 8x digital zoom, dedicated music keys,
