Nokia Tube – A Threat To Apple’s iPhone!
It seems that the Finnish giant ‘Nokia’ is all set to challenge Apple’s iPhone with a totally touch sensitive mobile phone of its own, which is likely to be known as the ‘Tube 5800.’
According to the hearsays spreading all over the internet, the Tube is Nokia’s initial touchscreen device, and termed as the next iPhone killer.
Nokia presented the idea of ‘Tube’ at the Evans Data Developer Relations Conference in Redwood City, California.
While lecturing at conference, Vice President of Forum Nokia, Tom Libretto has confirmed the development of the Nokia Tube.
The company thinks that its upcoming device can compete with ‘iPhone’ as Nokia’s ‘Tube’ supports Java which Apple has been reluctant to do with iPhone.
Resembling Apple’s iPhone, the upcoming Nokia 5800 Tube will be equipped with 3.2 inch touchscreen display having 16 million colors, 3.2 MP camera with auto-focus and GPS.
As per speculations the phone would also have Wi-FI capability, and 3G HSDPA connectivity together with Bluetooth. Besides, the phone is also likely to have a 3.5mm headphone jack and TV-output port for a wide-screen view.
However, the information regarding the pricing and launch of the phone has not revealed up till now.
