New Delhi, Sep 10 : International socialite Paris Hilton, who attended Indian designer duo Shane and Falguni Peacock's show at the ongoing New York Fashion Week (NYFW), says their line was full of "incredible" designs.

“Falguni and Shane Peacock on a fabulous runway show! So many incredible designs, can't wait to wear them! New York Fashion Week,” the 32-year-old, who also wore a knee-length dress created by the designer duo, posted on Twitter.

“Love the Falguni and Shane Peacock dress I'm wearing to their runway show. So futuristic and unique,” she posted further.

Monarchak (Tripura), Sep 10 : The state-owned ONGC's repeated dilly-dallying on supplying gas has delayed the state-run NEEPCO's second biggest thermal power project in northeast India and resulted in huge losses, an official said Tuesday.

The Rs. 9.50 billion (nearly $150 million) power plant is being commissioned by the state-run North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) at Monarchak, 70 km south of Tripura capital Agartala and eight km from the India-Bangladesh border.

New Delhi, Sep 10 : Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh Tuesday asked state governments to reduce the value added tax (VAT) on jet fuel to spur air travel and growth in the sector which has been suffering from cost escalation and the general economic slowdown.

"My request to you all will be that you should take up with your government to reduce VAT," Singh told State government representatives who had gathered here to discuss reducing the levy, improvements in air connectivity and development of low-cost airports.

New Delhi, Sep 10 : The World Health Organisation (WHO) Tuesday praised India for its polio eradication programme.

"It has been 30 months and there has not been a single case (of polio)," WHO Director General Margaret Chan said at the inauguration of the WHO regional meet for southeast Asian countries here.

"You have done it," she said, praising Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad's efforts in this direction.
