Rodgers brands Liverpool's 2-1 triumph over West Brom 'big win'

Brendan RodgersLondon, Oct 05 - Liverpool football team manager Brendan Rodgers has branded his side's 2-1 victory over West Bromwich Albion as a big win after their faltering start to the Premier League season.

Midfielders Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson scored a goal each to secure a first Premier League win for Liverpool since late August. Prior to victory over West Brom, last year's Premier League runners-up had won just two of six league games.

Rodgers said that it was satisfying, adding that they had to show character and the resilience of the players was fantastic, The BBC reported.
