Sparta High School Robotics Team Raising Funds to go to 2015 VEX World Championships

After their success at local and state level, the Sparta High School Robotics team has started raising funds to compete at the 2015 VEX World Championships in Kentucky. According to reports, to go to the world completion, the robotics team must raise more than $3,000.

Now, the students of the Sparta High School have started fundraising efforts to make the trip possible. On Monday, the team is going to hold a 'Jeans Day', in which staff members throughout the district could wear jeans for a donation of about $5. Team Advisor Mark Meola said that they are a diverse group of boys. Every member of the group contributed to the team in own way, Meola added.
