Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, a part of the Mahindra Group of Companies, is entering the capital market with a public issue of 92.65 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a premium to be decided through the 100 per cent book building process.

The issue, which will represent 11% of the post-issue paid up capital, will open on June 23 and close on June 26.

It should be noted that, credit rating agency Fitch Rating India, has already assigned '4' out of '5' grading to company IPO, which reflects 'above average fundamentals' of the issue relative to other listed equity securities.

The equity market closed on a dismal and disappointing note on Wednesday, as investors booked their profits across the sectoral indices, due to weak cues from the global markets.

The BSE Sensex closed lower by 435.07 points or 2.91% at 14,522.84 while NSE Nifty fell by 161.65 points or 3.58% to settle at 4,356.15. The BSE Sensex touched intraday high of 14,996.39 and intraday low of 14,447.02.

Washington, June 18 : Despite considerable efforts to reduce teen pregnancy, youngsters are still having sex without any contraceptive use, a new study has found.

There was a significant decline in the number of teen pregnancies in 1990s and early 2000s, but the trend eventually reversed between 2003 and 2007, said Dr John S. Santelli, professor and chair of the Heilbrunn Department of Population and Family Health at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health.
