New Delhi, June 19 : National Department of biotechnology is working on to develop anti- diarrhoea dispersible zinc tablets, which could be of ultimate help for children.

It is being developed in association with Bharat Immunological and Biologicals Corporation Limited (BIBCOL).

BIBCOL has set-up the facility for production of dispersible zinc tablets with financial support from Department of Bio-Technology.

Johannesburg  - Ousted Madagascar leader Marc Ravalomanana on Friday called for "urgent" measures to restore stability to the troubled island on the eve of a crisis Southern African Development Community (SADC) summit on the situation.

"SADC has been asking for the immediate restoration of constitutional order and a democratic government in Madagascar," Ravalomanana, said in a statement in French issued in South Africa, where he has been in exile since March.

New Delhi, June 19 : Activists in New Delhi gathered outside the Myanmar embassy to celebrate the 64th birthday of Myanmar's jailed opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi on Friday.

The activists, who had brought a birthday cake with a ''64'' candles on top, sang ''Happy Birthday'' to the tune of a guitar.

Denouncing the Nobel laureate's ongoing trial, the activists chanted slogans of ''Long Live Aung San Suu Kyi'' and demanded her release.

Amsterdam  - Dutch Queen Beatrix and Russian President Dmitri Medvedev are due to attend a festive opening Friday of the new renovated Dutch subdivision of Russia's Hermitage museum.

The exhibition now showing at the Amsterdam Hermitage, to be open to the public starting Saturday, will be of Russian Court life in the 19th century.

The Russian Hermitage in St Petersburg is one of the biggest museums in the world, comprising more than 3 million artifacts, many of which are kept in storage due to lack of space.

Silverstone, Britain - The ruling motorsport body FIA will issue another statement later on Friday, its president Max Mosley said in the wake of what appears an imminent defection from Formula One of eight top teams.

Mosley made the announcement at the British Grand Prix during several rounds of crisis talks.
