China also spent 19.49 billion yuan on building 102 Olympic projects in Beijing and the five other cities that co-hosted the Games, the report said.

The source told the German Press Agency dpa that the attackers, believed to be al-Qaeda members, fired two rockets in the attack in al-Ramadi, some 100 kilometres west of the capital Baghdad.

The first rocket struck a house, killing the child dead and wounding six members of the family.
