London, June 22 : Silvio Berlusconi has been dragged into further controversy after another woman claimed that she was paid to attend the Italian Prime Minister's parties.

Model Barbara Montereale said that Berlusconi gave her 10,000 euros "as a present" after attending one of his parties at Villa Certosa.

She was also paid an attendance fee of 1,000 euros from a hostess service, allegedly operated by a local businessman named Giampaolo Tarantini.

Patrizia D'Addario, an escort girl and a former actress, had revealed last week that 72-year-old Berlusconi bedded her in November 2008.

London, June 22 : Pet owners are at an increased risk of getting infected with the potentially fatal MRSA infection through dogs and cats, say researchers.

Dr. Richard Oehler, of the University of South Florida, says that MRSA and skin infections in dogs and cats can be spread to humans through bites.

While boys aged five to nine are at risk of dog bites the most, cat bites are more common in women and the elderly.

They usually cause deeper puncture wounds than dogs, and carry a higher risk of infection and soft-tissue abscesses.

Mumbai, June 22 : The lone surviving gunman behind the Mumbai terror attacks, Ajmal Amir Kasab, has been reprimanded by lawyers for laughing during the court proceedings, and recently a lawyer asked him to be serious or else he would call Dara Singh.

Kasab is the gunman captured alive during the terrifying three days beginning November 26, 2008, when 10 men arrived in Mumbai by boat and attacked 10 sites, killing more than 170 people. His trial, on charges of terrorism, criminal conspiracy and waging war against the state, began two months ago.

London, June 22 : Prince William and his girlfriend Kate Middleton reportedly booked a holiday home under the names of Mr and Mrs Smith recently.

The couple allegedly spent a romantic weekend as part of birthday celebrations for the royal, who turned 27 on June 21.

"They have been staying at private house under the assumed name Mr and Mrs Smith," British tabloid The Sun quoted a source as saying.
