Manila - A 49-year-old Filipino woman with chronic heart disease became the first fatality from swine flu in the Philippines, health officials said Monday.

The victim died on June 19, two days after she fell ill, Health Secretary Francisco Duque said.

Duque said the woman had no history of travel, adding that it was not yet known how she got infected.

According to the Department of Health, the number of confirmed H1N1 cases in the Philippines has reached 445 since the first infection was reported in late May.

Washington, Jun 22 : American publisher Larry Flynt was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital''s Emergency Room on June 20, though the cause of his ailment is unknown.

A source has revealed that the 66-year-old was driven to the hospital in his own car, and not in an ambulance.

Flynt''s current condition is still a mystery, reports RadarOnline. com.

Melbourne, Jun 22 : `Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan, 22, is being lined up to play mentor to people who need a second chance in life in a new reality TV show.

She reportedly had a dinner meeting with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, who is said to be producing the show, in Hollywood on the weekend.

The two have confirmed that they are working together on the show on social networking site Twitter. com, reports Us magazine.
