Washington, June 23 : Pop star Kelly Osbourne has signed a deal to write a teen advice book.

"It's about all the major things girls go through before they turn 21... It''s 16 chapters where I explain what I did and where I went wrong, and then I offer professional advice on how to do things differently," Contactmusic quoted her as telling WWD. com.

The book titled Fierce will delve into her past when she quit school early and started drugs; it will also include the later fight and rehabilitation experience.

In a significant move, Manipal University has become the country’s first University to have a Medical Simulation Centre.

The University has launched medical simulation to tap the educational advantages as an addition to conventional teaching with patients.

While speaking on this, MU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Raj P Warrier said, “With simulation, there is no risk to patients, realistic clinical scenarios can be reproduced reliably for different trainees, and serious types of medical crises can be duplicated allowing participants to hone their teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.”

Lahore, June 23 : Several Taliban insurgents are making use of special US made infrared patches to prevent themselves from being targeted by American aircraft.

The Taliban fighters are using the patches, which emits `friendly signals' to ward-off attacks by the US drones, The Washington Times has revealed.

The patches, which are designed to avoid fire during night-time battles, were stolen by the insurgents during raids on US supply convoys in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
