Not good news for residents of St. Louis: The city in Missouri has made an entry in the list of Top 50 Bed Buggiest cities. The list by Orkin Pest Control shows the area is getting worse in case of bed bug.

Chicago maintained its four-year long bed bug legacy and topped the list once again. St. Louis, which was at number 46 last year, has jumped to number 40 in the list. Midwest’s fourteen cities are in the list, including Champaign, Springfield and Decatur. Illinois is at number 42, while Kansas City is down with three numbers and settled at 44.

‘The Jetsons’ followers could witness shades of the robotic maid, Rosie, as the Atlas humanoid robot tries a numerous cleaning tasks. The robotics company IHMC’s video has been shown at 20x speed so that nobody has to wait for the slow-moving bot to come into position.

Though Atlas can do it, it isn’t easy at all. An individual is always needed to control its movements, verify its hand positions when it picks up something and ensure it doesn't fall over while attempting to recover some trash from the floor.

The Xinhua news agency has reported that China is looking forward to increase and fasten its space exploration efforts by landing the first lunar probe on the moon’s far side, which is the hemisphere, facing away from Earth, in 2018.

Liu Jizhong, chief to the country's State Administration of Science, Technology, and Industry for National Defense's lunar exploration center, said that the far side of the moon has never been explored, which has made their plans for the Chang'e-4 probe quite the milestone. Previously, the county has aimed of a probe landing there by the year 2020.

Since years, Mark Sirangelo along with his team at the Sierra Nevada Corp. has been working to develop a new space craft to take astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). However, the US space agency, NASA, has rejected it ultimately. The agency has awarded multi-billion dollar contracts to Boeing and SpaceX, both of which are Sierra Nevada's competitors.

The decision was protested by Sierra Nevada, but fell unfortunate in that too. It seems like the program is finalized, and the time and efforts performed to develop the Dream Chaser, a somewhat miniature space shuttle, has all gone in vain. All of a sudden, the state-of-the-art spacecraft was similar to a taxi driving around, but has no customer.

A group of astronomers headed by Professor Tomoharu Oka of Japan’s Keio University has detected a mysterious gas cloud, known as CO-0.40-0.22, just at a distance of 200 light years from the center of the Milky Way. The surprisingly wide velocity dispersion of CO-0.40-0.22 made it unusual. The cloud consists of gas having a quite broad range of speeds.

The team has discovered this baffling feature using two radio telescopes, Japan’s Nobeyama 45-m Telescope and Chile’s ASTE Telescope. Both are operated by Japan’s National Astronomical Observatory.

NASA on Friday said that it cut short a spacewalk at the International Space Station (ISS) after an astronaut reported a leak in his spacesuit helmet. British astronaut Tim Peake, who on the mission became the first astronaut from his country to walk in space, and US astronaut Tim Koprawere did spacewalk with the primary goal of their outing when Kopra reported the formation of a water ball in his helmet.

During an interview on NASA TV, flight director Royce Renfrew said that the astronauts were safe, but the space agency curtailed the spacewalk as a precaution.
