After being rejected by the US Marines over their barking and whining loud noises, electronically powered robo-dog "Spot", the jobless gadget of war that was developed by Boston Dynamics, would now be engaged for another task — to terrorize a dog species schnauzer instead of humans.

If you still haven’t remembered Spot, just imagine the video introduced by Boston Dynamics in September last year that showed a headless robotic dog twice your size moving around unpredictably in a parking lot towards Alex the terrier, also known as Android’s team mascot.

Weighing 160 pounds, the remote-controlled quadruped robo-dog has the ability to get up immediately after being knocked on its side (as shown in the video). Sporting navigational sensors in its head, Spot can haul around 40 pounds.

Space lovers have been celebrating a big homecoming event as NASA astronaut Scott Kelly landed on ground after completing 340-day mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Kelly touched down in Kazakhstan with his Russian counterparts.

Riding inside the Soyuz TMA-18M spacecraft, Kelly and Russian cosmonauts Mikhail Kornienko and Sergey Volkov landed in the Kazakhstan desert Tuesday night. Before leaving the ISS, the 52-year-old NASA astronaut handed over command of the space station to fellow astronaut Tim Kopra.

The Middlebury Campus reported that Middlebury College’s Dining Services will soon stop the sale of energy drinks, such as Red Bull and 5-Hour Energy. The ban will come into effect on March 7, it added.

She added that the health risks of energy drinks don’t go with the Dining Service mission statement, which partially noted ‘Nourish and nurture today and tomorrow by sustaining mind, body, and earth’.
