New Delhi [India], Sep 16 : Smartphone app that connects riders with drivers at the push of a button Uber has announced the launch of UberSHAAN, an initiative aimed at creating one million livelihood opportunities as micro-entrepreneurs in India by 2018.

UberSHAAN will focus at expanding economic opportunities across the spectrum and will provide access to skill development and driver training to the unskilled.

The initiative will also aim to help trained drivers receive commercial licenses and support the entrepreneurial ambitions of licensed drivers through vehicle financing and leasing solutions.

New Delhi [India], Sept. 16 : Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on a four-day visit to India, will today hold talks with President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He will also be accorded a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning. The visiting dignitary arrived in New Delhi yesterday.

On his arrival, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met his Nepalese Prime Minister.

External Affairs Ministry said that India will take this opportunity to understand the developmental priorities of the new Nepalese Prime Minister.

He will also visit Nathpa Jhakri Hydropower Project in Himachal Pradesh tomorrow.

This is Dahal's first foreign bilateral visit after he assumed office last month.
