New Delhi [India], Oct. 17 : Reacting to the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Gulab Singh Yadav, Swaraj India leader Yogendra Yadav on Monday said the Delhi Police and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung are out to catch and victimise the party.

He, however, conceded that the actions of AAP MLA's have given the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) an opportunity to target them.

London [UK], Oct. 17 : American sprinter Tyson Gay's 15-year-old daughter, Trinity Gay, has been killed in a shooting outside a restaurant in Kentucky.

She died from injuries sustained following a shoot-out in a car park as she was believed to have been caught in the crossfire of a suspected gang attack, reports the CNN.

Confirming her death her father said, "She didn't make it. I'm so confused. She was just here last week for fall break. It's so crazy. I have no idea what happened."

Trinity was transferred to hospital following the shooting and died at the University of Kentucky hospital (UKH).

Gay, 34, told reporters he was very close to his daughter, who was following in his footsteps as a rising track star.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 17 : After Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah has complained that he spent two hours in a holding area, adding that this happens to him every time he goes the U.S.

"Another "random" secondary immigration check upon landing in the US. Thrice in three visits, the randomness is growing tiresome now," tweeted Omar.

"I just spent TWO hours in a holding area & this happens EVERY time. Unlike @iamsrk I don't even catch Pokemon to pass the time (sic)," he said in his tweet.

He further tweeted: "I'm here to speak at an event organised by NYU but I almost wish I'd stayed at home instead. Ah well, that's two hours well & truly wasted!! (sic)"

New Delhi [India], Oct. 17 : The Supreme Court is likely to today pass direction over Justice Lodha committee plea alleging that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is violating the apex court order and committee directions regarding the BCCI reforms.

The apex court had on October 7 postponed its hearing on the spat between the BCCI and Lodha Committee till today, while holding that the recommendations of the panel matter.

The top court also barred the BCCI from releasing any funds to its state affiliates until they give an unconditional undertaking that they will comply with the organisational reforms as recommended by the Justice RM Lodha Committee.

New Delhi [India], Oct. 16 : United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May will be visiting India between November 6-8 accompanied by a business delegation on her first bilateral visit outside Europe.

She will hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and review all aspects of India-UK Strategic Partnership.

The Joint Economic and Trade Committee meeting will be held on the side-lines of the visit.

During the visit, Prime Minister May alongside Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the India-UK Tech Summit in New Delhi jointly hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 16 : Kim Kardashian stepped out publicly for the first time in Los Angeles after her involvement in the life-threatening incident on October 2.

According to E! Online, an onlooker said that the 35-year-old mother of two looked "somber" and "incognito" as she headed into an Italian restaurant with security.

"She made a brief, 30-minute trip to a restaurant in Beverly Hills. She was with a female friend and looked very downcast and somber, not wanting to be seen," an insider revealed.

The 35-year-old reality star opted for a black hoodie and tennis shoes, keeping her head down as she quickly came and went from the location.
