Pledging to strengthen strained relations between the two countries, U. S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived in Pakistan on Sunday.

The New York Times has reported that in meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Clinton stressed the importance of Pakistan's support in defeating the Taliban in the 9-year-old Afghanistan war.

Authorities have said that emergency workers on Sunday were trying to rescue more than 300 people trapped by floodwaters that inundated southwest China.

There were no injuries reports.

Xinhua has reported that about 250 people who had been trapped were rescued by Sunday morning from the fast-rising waters that forced the evacuation of 12,300 others, destroyed 128 houses and caused $2 million in property damage in Chongqing Municipality's Tongnan County.

Dell, however, has not revealed the specific details of their plan or the exact date of launch of the Smartphone or even the date when the models will be made available in the country.

Talks are that Dell has sought distributors with retailing purpose.
