During the second quarter, South Korean electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co registered an increase of 83% in its net profit at 4.28 trillion won ($3.6 billion) from 2.33 trillion won year on year.

With the number of swine flu still augmenting on daily basis, the country has developed its own swine flu detection kit. The major reason for this development has been the ever increasing cases of Swine flu in the country as around 548 new cases were recorded last week only.

The development of indigenous swine flu detection kit has been developed by three Indian companies. These companies are Defence Research and Development Organisation, Imperial Life Sciences and Ocimum.
