Jolie’s dad hoping to meet daughter’s twins for first time on Christmas

Angelina Jolie, Jon VoightWashington, Nov 20 : Angelina Jolie''s estranged father Jon Voight is quite certain that he will get to see his twin grandchildren over the festive period, as he has not yet seen his daughter’s latest edition to her brood ever since they were born.

The ‘Deliverance’ star and his Oscar-winning daughter were not on cordial terms after Voight publicly expressed his concerns for the actress'' mental health.

And despite the father-daughter duo’s alleged reconcilement after six years of not speaking, Voight has confessed that he still hasn''t seen Jolie and Pitt’s twins: Knox and Vivienne.

And when asked by America''s OK! Magazine if he has any plans to see the twins at Christmas, he answered in affirmative.

"The twins! Holy smokes... I''m hoping, so we''ll see,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Despite their strained relationship, Voight is proud of his daughter''s maternal achievements, as she looks happier with her bustling brood of six kids.

"I saw her here before the twins came, and she was so happy. I''ve never seen her that happy. And she''s got this beautiful film with Clint (Eastwood) out, so there''s going to be a lot of energy around that one as well,” he said. (ANI)
