Pete Doherty turns striker for pub footie team
London, Nov 19 : Troubled popstar Pete Doherty has turned a striker for a pub footie team.
The ‘Vertigo’ hitmaker has already blown 500 pounds on a new kit for Queen’s Head Rangers, with a picture of him on the shirts.
The Babyshambles popstar — put in touch with the team through a pal –insisted the side in Hazlemere, Bucks, based themselves on his beloved Queens Park Rangers.
He is now hoping to play for them.
“Pete is a very good footballer who scores again and again,” The Sun quoted a close pal, as saying.
“We’d be happy to have him,” Boss Josh Morris, 39, added. (ANI)
