London, Nov. 14 : Former England Test and one-day player Mark Ramprakash has said that the present squad needs to take steps to restore some pride and quickly rebuild their tarnished reputation after the Stanford Twenty20 shambles in the Caribbean.

The Surrey ace, 39, was quoted by The Sun as saying: “They really need to come together as a squad, do things professionally in India and give it a real go. Their reputation was tarnished by what happened so this is a good opportunity to put things right. It’s going to be tough. but England have a competitive side.” (ANI)
