‘Educational Adalat’ for teachers to solve problems

Banglore: A good news for the teaching staff, working with the higher education sector. The Department of Collegiate Education held an ‘Education Adalat’ to solve the problems of faculty regarding their promotions, placements, incentives and settlement of pensions etc.  

Arvind Limbavali, Higher Education Minister, inaugurated the Adalat in Banglore and he addressed the teaching staff “Now that a system has been put in place to solve your problems, I expect you to focus completely on improving your colleges, especially the standard of education.”

A large number of teachers attended the Adalat and discussed their problems. Top-ranking officials of the Education Department were there to solve the problems. Ms. Nagambika Devi said, the department is planning to hold the Adalat once in the three months and also planning to hold such Adalats at the regional level. The department also planned the same initiative for the non teaching staff of the colleges.

Mr. Limbavali said, “We should create such an environment wherein the government colleges become synonymous for high educational standards and attract talented students from all sections of society including the rich families who now prefer private colleges.”
