India Aviation Meet Opens Today
The four-day long civil aviation exhibition and conference would start from today onward. It is jointly organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Federation of Indian Chambers and Industry (FICCI).
The union minister for aviation, Praful Patel would inaugurate the conference 'India Aviation-2008' at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. It is the first international aviation event in the country. The leading airlines of the world would discuss aviation related matters in the conference. It would provide opportunity to domestic airlines to prepare a road map to cooperate with the international airlines. Air India, Kingfisher, Jet Airways, SpiceJet would also present their profile at the event
.About 200 exhibitors across the globe are likely to participate in the event. All the participants are preparing their stalls in the courtyard of airport. The even would also witness landing of variety of aircrafts and helicopters including Boeing-777, ALH, Citation CJ2, Global Express, Eurocopter 145, Hawker 850 XP, Falcon 900 EX, HANSA, Bell Helicopter 412 and others like Learjet 60 XR, Challenger 605 and CRJ 900.
