Sigh Of Relief For Priyanka
Accused of sending lewd and threatening messages to Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, the Mumbai Police on Tuesday arrested her former business manager Prakash Jaju from the city of Mhow in Madhya Pradesh.
After being rejected the anticipatory bail in 2006, the ex-manager of Priyanka Chopra has been on the run since two years.
Speaking with media people the Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Deven Bharti said, “Jaju has been on the run since two years and was arrested today from the city of Mau in Madhya Pradesh. He has been accused of threatening Chopra of dire consequences if he is not given his job back.” He also said that Jaju will be produced before a Mumbai court once he is brought to Mumbai from Madhya Pradesh.
However, Jaju had alleged that he had received threat calls from the actor and his father Ashok Chopra. He even claimed that Priyanka and her father owed him Rs 1 crore.
Earlier in 2004 Chopra dismissed Jaju from his job for sending the lewd and threatening messages to her and her father.
