Shilpa's Tormentor Goody Set To Appear On Bigg Boss
Who can ever forget Jade Goody and the issue, which arose due to her racial discrimination against the Indian celebrity Shilpa Shetty during the last year season of the British reality show, Big Brother.
And to improve her image, the 27 year old goody has decided to take part in the Indian version of Big Brother called Big Boss, which will commence soon.
Surprisingly, the host of the show would be none other than our very own Shilpa Shetty. The 33 year old Bollywood actress had been a victim to a lot of discrimination which she received from Goody and few others during her stay at the Big Brother’s Maison. However, she occurred as a true survivor when she won the show.
Meanwhile, Goody is expected to fly down to Mumbai on August 14 to prepare for the weekend launch of the show. She would enter the house on August 18.
Goody told her family members that she might be away fro 3 months or so and also expressed her nervousness to take part in the show. May be the Hollywood celebrity is unsure as to how she would be treated by the Indian celebrities. A source was quoted saying, “Jade wasn't sure when she was first approached because she was worried about how the Indian housemates and public might react.”
The source also reported, “She was really upset about everything that happened after the scandal last year. People in India were burning effigies of her in the street. But she really wants to clear her name and prove to everyone that she's not a racist.”
Last year when Shilpa had taken part in the British reality show Big Brother, Goody and wannabe wag Danielle Lloyd and former S Club 7 singer Jo O'Meara were accused on throwing racial comments on her. Jade was even caught on the camera calling the Indain actresses as “Shilpa Poppadum”.
Meanwhile, Shilap who is all geared up to host the show was asked to pass a piece of advice to the ones who are taking part in the 2008 season Big Boss. She gently and calmly said that they need to be themselves.
She further added, “Because I've been there, done that, I'll be able to relate to the housemates in a more empathetic way because I can imagine what they're going through at that point in time.”
