HTC to launch One S model on 15 June in IndiaTaiwanese smartphone maker, HTC is planning to launch its new One S Android smartphone in the Indian market on 15 June, 2012.

The company was earlier planning to launch the device earlier in the previous week but had to delay it due to some reasons. The smartphone will come with Google’s Android 4.0 operating system. It will be powered by a dual core Snapdragon S4 Krait processor with an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit.

The One S will come feature a 4.3 inch display with Gorilla glass and will be one of the thinnest smartphone with its 7.8 mm metal body. The device will weight only 119.5 grams. There is an impressive 8 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash on the back and a VGA front camera. The HTC One S will also have 16 GB of internal storage and 1 GB of RAM memory.

The company will also offer Bluetooth, WiFi, DLNA functionality, and 3G cellular connectivity in the smartphone. AS for music lovers, it will come with beats audio enhancements.

The HTC One S smartphone will be priced at Rs 33,000 in the country.
