South Filmmakers Keen To Remake 'Dabangg' In Tamil, Telugu!
Salman Khan may be the bad boy for his links with Srilankan administration family accused of Tamil racial extermination.
His backing of the recent IIFA Awards ceremonial occasion in Colombo called up the rage of South Indian film fraternity and he was even threatened with a ban.
But all looks to have been disregarded and reports said that the makers of south Indian flicks are standing outside Sallu's house to obtain the remake rights for his Hindi mega-hit movie 'Dabangg'.
The South Indian film makers are very keen to make the film in two languages including Tamil and Telugu.
While confirming the news, Dabangg's producer Arbaazz Khan stated that the talks are going on, but he would still hold the film's creative control even when it is made in other languages.
That's an important point to think about for the remake buff.
While the actor for Dabangg's Tamil remake is not confirmed thus far, the sources from Hyderabad said that Pawan Kalyan is sure to do it in Telugu aside from producing it under his own banner.
Salman Khan who revived his sinking career with the remake of 'Pokkiri' is presently working in the remake of 'Uthamaputhiran'.
Before Sallu-Sonakshi starrer 'Dabangg', it was only Mr. Perfectionist starrer '3 Idiots', which bagged a big response from South filmmakers.
