Baloch, Sindhi leaders appeal to UK to back release of Baloch freedom fighters

London, Mar 31: Gorden BrownLeaders of the Balochistan Action Committee (BAC) and the World Sindhi Congress (WSC) have urged British Prime Minister Gordon Brown to secure the release of Baloch freedom fighters detained by Pakistan.

Participating in a two-hour protest rally outside 10, Downing street the 100 slogan chanting Baloch and Sindhi protesters accused Pakistan’s military establishment of having carried out a number of ruthless military operations to suppress Baloch aspirations of liberty, peace and justice.

They claimed that a full-fledged military operation had been going on in Balochistan for three years, and that during these operations; thousands of innocent Baloch had been killed or had been displayed.

“Pakistan’s military has killed Baloch national leaders and has abducted and tortured thousands of Baloch and Sindhi activists, ” The Dawn quoted an activist, as saying.

Samad Baloch, Abdullah Baloch, Haleem Bhatti and Lakhu Luhano led the rally. (ANI)
