Japanese automaker, Toyota is considering the plans to open quality fields in Houstan and three other centers in US. It is also studying the prospects in Canada while US is going to be on the top of the list. Names of the other places are- Jacksonville, FL and Denver.

All the four cities already have Toyota's sales and distribution offices.

These centers are going to concentrate only on trucks and chassis components, the company said. A similar kind of operations was started in New York last year.

At the site, performance of Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles are studied in cold weather and corrosion issues are also given emphasis.

Meanwhile, Toyota's project in San Francisco that is going to start from August will also have office the strength of which are going to be three to five people.
