Bangalore ODI: Tight security at Chinnaswamy Stadium
Bangalore, Sept. 29 : Tight security arrangements have been made around the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where first of the seven one-day internationals between India and Australia is being played today.
"We have also ensured that this time we will not have paper badges. We have security and electronic bands which are given to the security staff who are in the stadium apart from the policemen," said B.N.S. Reddy, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bangalore.
Reddy further said that 3,000 policemen have been deployed around the stadium, including anti-terrorist and anti-Maoist squads.
Restrictions have also been imposed on the entry of children below the age of three into the stadium. (With inputs from ANI)
