By designing a new collection of watches, American singer-actress Jessica Simpson is all set to expand her business empire.

According to reports of contactmusic. com, the singer already boasts her own jewellery line as part of her Jessica Simpson Collection, which also includes shoes, handbags, luggage, clothing and eyewear and now she's adding to her fashion empire with a range of timepieces.

She said," Creating and inspiring the collection is very near to my heart - my mom and I work on this collectively and it is a passion for both of us. It is a joy to be able to create a line that is affordable and fashionable. And collecting watches, both vintage and new, has been a hobby of mine for some time so adding watches to the collection was a natural extension."

Ranging from $60 to $250 in price, the watches are due to launch later this year. (With Input from Agencies)
