XBox New Zealand has announced the release of a Limited Edition XBox 360 Elite, the move which will coincide with the release of BioWare’s Mass Effect 2. The Limited Edition package will be bundled with a 250GB hard drive, a headset, two controllers and a special copy of Mass Effect 2.

Mass Effect 2, the sequel to Bioware's award winning title which was released in 2007, has come after a long wait of a little over 2 years. In the previous edition, Commander Shepard had successfully defeated the Reapers, and once again, with Mass Effect 2, players will control Commander Shepard as he takes on, and tries to stop, a new deadly threat.

The XBox 360 Mass Effect 2 Limited Edition console will be available across New Zealand with a price tag of $649.99. The game carries an R-13 rating and is due to hit markets on 29th January.
