Nelson Mandela gets a ‘palace’ to host his 90th birthday bashLondon, Mar 11: Nelson Mandela’s 90th birth anniversary in London will surely be an extravagant affair for the former South African President has been given a ‘palace’ to host 200 guests.

Mandela has also been given his own individual bathing area and food cooked by a top chef at the birthday concert being held in his honour in Hyde Park in June.

The bash will be attended by the likes of Princes William and Harry and Bill and Hillary Clinton.

“We’ve been briefed to turn the marquee into a stunning palace with his own private quarters and toilet suite. We’re trying to get a celebrity chef, to do the catering,” The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

Organizers are also worried the marquee will create a major security risk with so many of the world’s famous figures crammed into one space, the source added.

Will Smith and his wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, will front the bash. (ANI)
