Tata Communications, leading provider of a communication infrastructure and solutions, has noticed a fall of 68% in its net profit for the quarter ended Sep.30, 2009.

During the quarter, the company posted a net profit of Rs 10.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009 as compared to Rs 32.92 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008.

In the same period, company’s total income has decreased from Rs 1035.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008 to Rs 792.99 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2009.

The stock of the company closed today at Rs 471 on BSE. The counter has made 52-week-high and low of Rs 651 and Rs 320 respectively.
