When Demi Moore ‘snubbed’ Sarah Brown via Twitter

London, Sep 10 : American actress Demi Moore is alleged to have snubbed UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s wife Sarah on Twitter by ignoring her post.

Both ladies are known for their love of the micro-blogging site, with 45-year-old Sarah having successfully wooed America’s First Lady Michelle Obama, supermodel socialite Paris Hilton, on the site, reports the Telegraph.

Others include Queen Rania of Jordan, presenters Davina McCall, Emma Freud and Stephen Fry, DJ Chris Moyles, actor Kevin Spacey and comedian Eddie Izzard. She now has almost 700,000 followers.

Moore, 46, who is married to Ashton Kutcher, 31, was among the first celebrities to help make Twittering an international phenomenon, and both have hundreds of thousands of followers on their sites.

But when a series of “Tweets” seemed to appear on Moore’s page from Mrs Brown’s Twitter account, telling the actress to “Spread the word (in the U. S. A)! that Half The Sky by Nicholas Kristoff & Sheryl WuDunn comes out 2day”, they were ignored.

The Daily Mail said it was “rather like being ignored at a social function”. (ANI)
