Lou Ferrigno set for ‘Hulk’ cameo
Melbourne, Sept 18: Lou Ferrigno, who played the lead in the Incredible Hulk television series and movies, will be returning to the new movie.
According to Moviehole.net, Variety via Superhero Hype report that the part however will be a cameo.
The sequel to the 2003 movie will be directed by Louis Leterrier who directed Transporter 2, which opened at the top of the box office earlier this year, as well as the critically-acclaimed Unleashed, starring Jet Li, Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins.
The script for the movie is being written by Zak Penn whose credits include Marvel's X2: X-Men United and X-Men: The Last Stand.
It stars Edward Norton in the lead role as Dr Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross: Bruce's girlfriend, from whom he is separated due to his condition, William Hurt as General Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross: Betty's father, who has dedicated himself to capturing the Hulk, Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky: A KGB agent who exposes himself to gamma radiation to gain the Hulk's powers. Unable to change back into human form, he seeks his revenge on Banner, and im Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns: A scientist.
The original Hulk movie was directed by Ang Lee and starred Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly. The movie, which cost 150 million dollars to make, earned 132 million dollars at the North American box office. (With Inputs from ANI)
