Pakistan military chopper crashes in South Waziristan, eight dead

Islamabad, Feb 6 : Pakistan military chopper crashesA Pakistani military helicopter on Wednesday crashed in South Waziristan in which a senior army officer and seven other personnel were killed.

The chopper crashed near Tanai village in South Waziristan due to a “technical malfunction”, the Dawn quoted chief military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas, as saying.

Major General Javed Sultan, the commanding officer of Kohat garrison, two brigadiers and five other personnel were killed in the crash. (ANI)
