Injured Jeev Pulls Out Of The British OpenJust two days before the start of the third Major tournament of the year, Jeev Milkha Singh, the 38-year-old golfer, has opted to pull himself out of the British Open due to a rib injury.

Due to this injury, Jeev will not be able to play for at least three weeks due to which he will miss the British Open at the Turnberry, Scotland.

Jeev said that he was suffering from pain when he was playing 18 holes yesterday and even deep breaths were not able to give relief to him.

He added that he was hoping to be fit for the tournament but this injury continues to suffer him throughout the year and he would now take break after he tried to postpone the rehabilitation and rest period.

Jeev was paired with South African Rory Sabbatini in the first round of the British Open which was scheduled to play on Thursday.
