Washington, Mar 03 : TV actress Anna Friel has turned down several TV offers in a bid to focus on her career in the film industry.

Friel, who shot to fame with `Pushing Daisies' sitcom, is currently looking forward to launching a career in Hollywood.

"I was incredibly honoured and flattered (to be offered more TV roles). To be considered for anything is just lovely," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Friel is not jumping at TV offers, as she is frantic about venturing into Hollywood.

"But I''ve just finished two years on Pushing Daisies and I''ve decided that to go and sign another six-year contract isn''t the right thing to do at the minute. So I''m going to wait. And I''ve got two movies that I''m going to do this year so we''ll see," Friel added. (ANI)
