Jaipur: Sanjay Dixit, a 1986 batch IAS officer, has occupied several posts including that of member, Board of Revenue in Ajmer, chairman of Rajasthan Financial Corporation in Jaipur, Barmer collector and secretary to government, home (jail). At present, he is secretary (horticulture).

Dixit rubbished Modi’s allegation that the government had a hand in the RCA elections. “This is absolutely rubbish. We did not get patronage of the state government,” Dixit said and added, “The win is end of East India Company rule in the RCA.” Sources say Dixit wanted to stand for the post of RCA president in 2005 but was sidelined by Modi. Ever since, the two have never seen eye to eye.
